According to the Shenzhen Metropolitan Channel, 10 boxes containing 210,000 chips in an electronics factory in Shenzhen were stolen recently, along with the computer host that was lost. It is understood that the batch of chips is worth ten million yuan.
"I want to call the police! 210,000 chips from our factory were stolen, and the host computers monitored by the company were taken away..." said Mr. Wang, the person in charge of an electronics factory in Shenzhen angrily. After receiving the police, the police launched an investigation.
Public video footage showed that a gray van parked downstairs at Mr. Wang’s factory at about 23 o’clock in the evening on May 24. Two young men got out of the car and went upstairs. About 20 minutes later, two suspicious men got down from the factory floor, loaded 10 boxes into the van, and fled the scene.
Fortunately, three suspects of theft have been captured and 10 boxes of stolen chips have also been recovered. Shenzhen Commercial Daily reported that the suspects Chen, Zhan, Huang and Zhao have been criminally detained by the public security organs in accordance with the law.
Chips can be called industrial gold, with small size and high value. Chip shortages have led to serious price increases. Next, companies responsible for the production, management, and transportation of chips must also hire security guards and buy insurance.
